Council to consider seeking approval for loan
At their meeting on Wednesday 24 July 2024, the Parish Council will consider seeking approval from the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government to apply for a loan of up to £100,000 over a maximum period of 25 years towards the construction of the new Chinley Community Centre. The report attached sets out the background and reasons for seeking this approval.

Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2023/24
The unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the year ended 31 March 2024 for Chinley, Buxworth and Brownside Parish Council has been published here along with the Notice of Public Rights.

The Christmas Lights Switch-On events in the parish will take place as follows:
Chinley - Squirrel Green - Monday 27 November - 7pm
